IMO the Remington series bolt actions were some of the best vintage. Ive never shot one off a bench so I cant give you group sizes, but it always shot minute of soda can off the back of my dad's pick up. Id grab it if I were you, the original peep sight that came on the was a real jem compared to the iron sights on most guns in its price range.
